Degree of Bachelor of Arts in Primary Education - School-Age Educare, Career-based 180 credits

For a Degree of Bachelor/Master or Arts in Primary Education the student shall demonstrate the knowledge and skills required to work autonomously as a primary teacher in the specialisation for which the qualification is awarded. The student shall also demonstrate knowledge and skills for other forms of teaching for which the degree, pursuant to the applicable regulations, qualifies him or her.

Degree of Bachelor of Arts in Primary Education - Extended School

General entry requirements for higher education in Sweden, plus courses equivalent to the following Swedish upper secondary school subjects: English 6, Natural Science 1b or 1a1 + 1a2 and Social Science 1b or 1a1 + 1a2. Alternatively: English level 2, Natural Science level 1b or level 1a2 and Social Science level 1b or level 1a2.

Furthermore, a minimum of three years of documented professional experience equivalent to full-time employment in an educational setting is required, of which at least two years must be continuous and at no less than half-time within School-Age Educare (Fritidshem).
